Mavis and Reg deepwater road

Does anyone know of this couple, I believe that Reg has passed away, but Mavis is still there. I met them a few years ago, when they came out to NZ and visited close family friends of ours Len and Eileen King, Len and Eileen lived in Downham Rd a few doors down from us, and her children went to St Josephs.
