More names of people I knew

A couple more names I remember from my childhood in Canvey. Down the road from us ( Downham Rd) lived Mr and Mrs Gregory, and their two daughters Ann and Pamela, I believe Mrs Gregory was also called Pamela? they were close friends of ours for many years, Mrs G and Mum wrote frequently to each other over the years. Also a Mrs Nunn?? who lived next to us would have been No1 Downham?? The Gregory's had a tortoise called " Charley Cheesecake" I remember the thing in our garden, it had its house number painted on its shell
