BBC1 Royal Wedding Canvey Island

The Archive have recently been involved with BBC1. They are doing a short series to do with the royal wedding. They have a lady who told them about seeing the Royal Wedding 1947 on a TV in Tower Radio on Canvey Island. We put them in touch with the Litmans and the BBC came to Canvey last week to film this lady in the Tower Radio shop. I think from what I was being told she would be looking at the old wedding on modern media.

The series starts on Monday 25 April - Thursday 28 BBC1 9.15am - 10am. The episode on Canvey is on Wed 27.
I have no idea what the series is being called but it might be interesting to see
